Why daycares don't give babies blankets

In California it is against CCLD regulations to give children who sleep in pack n plays or cribs a blanket.  You will help your new provider out if you use sleep sacks instead of blankets.  This article is one of the reasons why we do not use blankets, until children transfer to a cot.  California supports safe sleep environments.
